This us actually the first time I’ve been completely torn on whether I should use my Tele or Strat at church this Sunday. I almost always pick the Tele… But I like the way the Strat sounds on these songs. (Through my Pod at least)
I could use both… But switching in between songs is a hassle.
I guess I’ll just have to wait till practice and see how it sounds with my rig and the church system.

Star Trek Musings.
Captain Picard is on a covert mission to seek out a hidden Cardassian weapons research outpost. The team’s “spy gear” (tricorders) flash blinking lights and make loud beeping sounds. Don’t tricorders have a “stealth mode”? Or is there so strange law that forbids it, like the way almost all cellphone cameras are required to make a sound when taking a picture?
I’m sure this will go well.

Musings after watching several episodes of Star Trek.
I’ll always think it’s funny how in Star Trek, everybody (especially the captain) second-guesses the engineers and science officers. Conversations often go like this:
Engineer: “Captain, I’ve looked everything over. It’s in perfect shape, I don’t know why the power drains are occuring.”
Captain: “Did you check the nacelle plasma inductors?”
This is honestly absurd and quite inane when you think about it. What if your conversation with your mechanic went like this:
Mechanic: “Sir, I’ve looked everything over, and your car is in great shape. I just can’t put my finger on why your car stalling out.”
Customer: “Did you check… the tires?”
Mechanic: “…”
